REAL TIME FROGGER

We were on the way home from C/C/V.  Rojo let out a loud scream,then  I  heard a pop.I asked her why she screamed. She said we ran over a frog that was in the road.I never saw the frog,but I sure heard it go POP! I guess that's how the frog feels in the game Frogger.That reminds me of a bumper sticker.It says, "I brake for  small animals,they are harder to hit"!

Family Get Together

The Hansen family has made it a point to get together on a regular basis.Too much time goes by between visits if we don't set up dates to connect.Rojo made some yummy sausage nachos,7 layer dip,tortilla roll-ups,and carmel apples for our family get together.Mary,Joel and their kids stopped by.Mom and Dad, Tammie,John,Sara and the girls all came over. We celebrated Marys 32nd birthday.We played Pit with about 17 people at one time.We had to use two decks.It was loud and crazy,and a total blast. Joel and I took turns running the video camera,covering the pit madness.

What do you know? The Cardinals beat the Miami Dolphins!Last I checked the D-Backs were tied 1-1 in the 10th.I cant wait for the NBA season to start.I swore last season after the Suns failed once again to beat the Spurs I wouldn't watch them anymore. Every season seems to end in heartbreak for me.

The mornings are starting to show a hint of Autumn in the air. I cant wait for the cooler weather.I absolutely love going to the green-belt and playing Frisbee with the kids.I have been hibernating in the house since the end of May!

We really like that our small group is so close to our house.Last week Rhonda and Preston went to the group. We prayed for Rhonda, and her neck surgery. Praise God, it was a success.Mom and Dad went to church with us at CCV last night. Paul Wilson spoke on Judaism.Afterward we ate dinner with them on the terrace,while Justin played in the "snow" with the Jr High Youth.

September Weekend

I just got done watching the Diamondbacks take second against the LA Dodgers(5-3).At least the Cardinals beat the 49ers in SF. We went to Big Apple for breakfast this morning. I had the pig-out,and no I didn't finish it. I did get to walk around inside Jo-Ann's. Dreadful,absolutely dreadful. I was exhausted when we finally left there.Rojo says it was only 18 minutes that we were actually in the store.It felt like several hours!After we got home I promptly took a nap.I honestly don't know how women can shop at places like that.People were actually waiting for the store to open(how sad).

Rojo has decided to paint again.She is a glutton for punishment.Right now she is down stairs cooking another delicious dinner.She helped Katee with her homework.They both (KT & J) seem to have a lot of it.Several weeks ago KT tells me we have to go to her school for a curriculum meeting with her teacher.We had to be there in 10 minutes. The meeting was just about over when we got there. Her teacher asked me if I had any questions regarding her schoolwork.Before I could answer the question KT says"O my mom always helps me with my homework because he is never around!I was able to mention that I been working open till close 6 days a week at work because my co-worker had been recently terminated.
